I've decided to give my grandaughter one of the dolls I've had put away for her. It's the JLY doll with light brown hair and blue eyes. I want to order the new outfit, and that's $26.00. I need something to add to make it $30 or more, so I can use the code.
I know some of you know the catalog inside out, and can give me some ideas.
She is only 4, and we thought she'd still want Bitty stuff. My daughter pointed out the Bitty section in the new catalog, and she said "NO", I want one of these dolls, pointing to the JLY page. We've kind of been waiting to see when she'd get interested in the larger dolls, and I guess the time has come!

If she doesn't have one yet, I'd get her a doll brush. They're really nice to have, especially since she's four and will like to play with the doll's hair.

I'm looking at possibilities for extras to put a $26 outfit up to $30 for the code, too.
Here are some of the things I like--

Addy's Striped dress--$10 (on sale--a whole extra outfit!)

Black Logo Tee Shirt--$6

Gray Sneakers----$8 (a bit high for shoes, but better than $10 for the newest ones)

Zip Ankle Boots----$8 (likewise)

Rose Garden Dress--$17 (on sale--I'll be making a second just-over-$30 order if I get this)

Mix and match until you get the right amount--you need less than $35 before the code to get the lower $4.95 shipping rate!

I like the idea of the $10 for sale outfit. Molly's aviator is really cool.

I think the hairbrush is a great idea! She will like brushing the hair, and we can emphasize at a young age, that she has to use that "special" brush.
My daughter said she was showing her all the outfits she liked, so grandma's going to have to get busy making some clothes!
I was going to make my GD and Bitty matching sleepwear for Christmas, so I guess I'll have to make a set for the JLY doll, too.
